Nancy: Okay so you caught us. We didn't take these photos on Canada Day. Why you ask? Because we're too busy digging our way out of the hole that is school work on Canada's day to be able to do anything fun like going to see the live performances on Parliament Hill, any Ottawa museums (free admission!), or possibly even the fireworks. What's that you say? You have time to go have fun this wonderful Tuesday? Well there you go. Have fun for us. :)
The humidity started to rise over the weekend and it was kind of wonderful. I love the lace and beading on this gray tank top and decided to emphasize the details by layering it over a shimmery pink bralette. I tucked the tank top into my cute natural waist shorts that you might have seen here.

Bolu: Due to the intense heat, I decided to throw on this blood orange bandage skirt. The pop of colour acted as the center of the outfit and I built around it. To dress the skirt down for a more casual look I matched it with a white tank top from American Eagle and a jean vest from Urban Planet. The cross on the back adds a bit on an edge to complete the look.
